The Manager’s Playbook:
Coaching Skills Managers Need for Today’s Workforce
Create a more productive, high-performing team with coaching
In this 75-minute interactive online training, you will learn:
- Why coaching is more effective than managing. Research shows that coaching is the #1 most effective management method.
- How to coach your team to greatness. Learn the step-by-step process of becoming a coach who your employees want to follow.
- How to win loyalty & improve retention. Create the right chemistry by coaching in a more collaborative and empathetic way.
“Training managers to think and act like coaches is the single most important talent initiative that all organizations should be working on." – Gallup's State of the American Workplace report
Picture the best manager you ever had. He or she saw potential in you … cared about you as a person … gave you consistent feedback, while challenging and empowering you to move to the next level.
New research shows that this coaching style is the absolute most effective method of management — in terms of both employee performance and retention.
"Command and control" management is out. Today's workplace requires managers who engage, inspire and provide regular feedback — not just tell employees what to do. You guide, support and encourage, rather than direct, control and coerce. Employees feel more supported and valued.
Our changing workplace requires a more collaborative coaching approach. Shifting from managing to coaching will result in employees who are more engaged, are more accountable, perform better, think more dynamically — and who will stick around a lot longer.
On February 15, gather your supervisors for this groundbreaking webinar to help turn your managers into a team of super coaches.
