Stay Interviews

Stay Interviews:
How One Conversation Can Cut Turnover in Half

Fact: Companies that conduct Stay Interviews have higher morale and lower turnover.

We’re all familiar with exit interviews. But during this Great Resignation, it’s more important to have those discussions before employees quit.

Studies show that companies that conduct Stay Interviews benefit from a higher percentage of engaged, motivated employees—and their turnover is much lower. Learn how to stave off those exit interviews by examining what excites employees, what annoys them and what your company can do to retain their services.

Now is a critical time to put Stay Interviews into practice. A full 41% of U.S. workers say they plan to look for a new job in the first half of 2022. But a new Gallup report says more than half of workers who quit say nobody talked to them in those final months about how they were feeling about their jobs.

Gather your managers and HR staff to learn how to develop, implement and act on these timely Stay Interviews.

Agenda for Stay Interviews:

  • How to create and administer an efficient, effective Stay Interview program
  • When to conduct them—and how often

  • How to best interpret and act on the information
